Happy Birthday Mommy!

Today is Cotton's birthday.

We decorated and had cupcakes and presents, but I didn't feel like we could celebrate Cotton the way she deserves to be celebrated.

It's been a bit uphill around here recently 
with the constant rotation of illness. Today was a weekday like so many others - no great opportunity for rest or proper birthday-pampering.

Although our celebration was small, the love we have for Cotton is huge. Through her own sickness she cares for all of us. We're so lucky.

Happy Birthday, Cotton. Thank you. ❤️
