Seeing Spencer

Asking Grandma Wright all the "would you rather" questions from his "Would You Rather" book.  

Can you find the Spencer among all his classmates from last year? He was having a great time reconnecting with his friends at this birthday party.  

Today we watched an episode of a show called Floor is Lava, where a team of people have to get through an obstacle course without touching the floor...  

Spencer's favorite thing to build at the library is an Evil Villan Lair. This one even had a flying bike.  

I don't remember what Spencer's creature was called. Or why Spencer had his eyes closed. But whatever was going on, fun was sure being had.  

Swim class is great... for now. His turn is coming.  

For a short while, we have the pleasure of Spot the leopard's company. We received him at a recent birthday party.  

Spencer loves using the water blasters. Surprisingly, it took us until this point in the summer to use them.  

Spencer went to camp for the very first time and he loved it. Special thanks to Toby (who was with him) for making sure he felt safe and sound. This is him and some of his art work from week one. On the table in front of him is his sculpture of "Chip" from League of Super Pets. (If you search out an image of Chip, I think you'll see the resemblance.)  

While in Chicago, we rode the L and we rode the bus. We never saw the train conductors, but the bus drivers were very professional.  

Chicago's firefighters are looking pretty cute.  

We take a break from Chicago shots to present an obstacle course we built yesterday. Great fun. Spencer felt his warm up gave him an advantage. Hard to argue.  

Roar!  

When you're striking the coolest pose at the Tribune Building... But then your brother walks into frame. (It looks like he has rubber bones here, but i promise it was a weird camera angle.)  

They'll have to share the number, but at least they'll get to be on the same team.  

We did not bring him home, but we made sure to give him a hug.  

You know a water table means business if.they provide you with rain coats.  

Spencer opted to ride the Carosel at Navy Pier. Fortunately, they were first in line, so he got to choose the most fabulous one.  We figured this must be Aquaman's horse.  

Sometimes life delivers you a Batman popcicle right when you need it.

First, he drew a meteor destroying the earth. Then, he began the rebuilding phase. No doubt inspired by the architecute tour.
