Seeing Spencer

I'll just put my leg up here, and then... Ok. Maybe a little help would be nice after all.  

Happy 16 Months, Nuggie.  

I'm going to fit right in around here.  

Ages ago, we made up this song as part of Toby's bedtime routine. It's now evolved to a full family production, which builds to a chase between Toby and Spencer. The chase might be the highlight of Spencer's day. Not great for winding down, but that kind of excitement is hard to beat.  

Never quit until you've climbed every piece of equipment on the playground.

  When your cousin and your aunt like books as much as you do... Listening to Aunt Rabi read Barnyard Dance (a classic, and apparently, a bit of a nail biter). Seeing that Cousin Harry likes it just as much as you do. Distracted by the fact that Mom is sharing a book moment with Cousin Harry. Wait. Did I miss my favorite part of Barnyard Dance?! Cousin Harry likes that other book so much that she's eating it. They get it! They get how awesome all these books are! This is going to work out great.

We didn't get to wear this last season. And we're bear-ly going to be able to wear it this year. But I think we can all agree that it is bear-y cute.

Reading one of our new favorite books (The Cookie Fiasco) with Uncle Scott. It is a very serious book. Here's a serious look from Uncle Scott to Spencer. And a serious look from Spencer to Uncle Scott.  

 Grandma gets this book. Mommy must have told her how it works before she got here.

Toby didn't want to take a picture with this guy, but Spencer (and Dad) thought he was beary nice.

I'm not sure where he's going, but he seems excited about the trip.
