Seeing Spencer

Not sure "lifting the Bean" is an iconic Chicago picture, but we did one anyway... This one, however, is a classic:

Spencer was signed with the crosstown rival White Sox.  So that's lucky.  

Today we did the Chicago Architectural Boat Tour.  This was arguably Dad's reason for choosing Chicago as a destination. Grateful for a game family ready for adventure.  

If a city has an aquarium, it's likely we'll be there.  Today we dodged some big storms in Chicago at the Shedd Aquarium. All ready for the 4D Octopus show.

Ooblek! This non-Newtonian fluid remains a summer classic.  

Spencer has given "Spencer Chess" a more formal rule structure. It's still not normal chess, but it's far from the chaos it once was.  

Spencer had been waiting all summer to do baking soda and vinegar with Toby. Today, we finally did it.  

Today, Spencer was busy rehearsing his own performance. If it's a joke that you don't get, don't worry. It's a performance that's only meant for Toby.

We got to put together our own dinosaurs at the library today. Spencer was very pleased with how his turned out.   

Very excited for his big kid bed! (Thanks again Davis!) This is before the stuffies all moved over from the old bed.  

People want to take my picture wherever I go.

We were not expecting to spend an hour at the library this afternoon, but when there are Legos to build with (and air conditioning), you indulge the creative impulse.
