Seeing Spencer

Taking an apple break among the poppies.  

Spencer decided to ride the cow at Aunty Em's farm (before it got sucked up the tornado).  

 It's very exciting seeing your name in a museum.

We interrupt our DC travelog to celebrate 1000 blog posts for Mr. Spenceroo!  

We saw some very famous friends at the Museum of American History. Spencer made sure to get their picture.  

Suffice to say that Spencer is an excellent traveler. It helps that we keep him well fed and try to provide opportunities for him to get in a nap.

By the time we made it to the Lincoln Memorial, Spencer was a bit more receptive to being in the pictures.

This is Spencer with the Washington Monument in the background. Spencer was very interested in taking pictures. But was not so excited about being in pictures. Mom snunk a few in anyway in the interest of avoiding any complaints about "you took pictures of Toby in DC, but you didn't take any pictures of me!"  

Helping Dad with the yard is a very serious affair.  

Weeee!  

I think Henny Penny and I have a good chance at winning this chicken race. She's really been getting to the finish line with some good times. Go, Henry, go! Looks like this might take a little while...

Spencer and Toby were very exact in decorating Dad's birthday cupcakes. And they showed enormous restraint with regard to the delicious decorations. Spencer (and Dad) were very pleased with the final product.
