Seeing Spencer

We kicked-off the Christmas season with a holiday train ride through rural NJ.   

It's nice to finally have someone around who gets Batman.

Snuggling with Grandma is nice, but was should always keep an eye out in the Alligator slippers.  

Fun fact: Batman can play the flute. Even without his hands! Who knew?  

Books are great. But they're even better when you can read them together.  

Sometimes even Batman needs to take a break to watch a video.  

Spencer has found great joy hiding from Toby before their goodnight hug.   There aren't too many places to hid in his room, but tonight he took it up a notch.  

First you dream. Then you draw.  

Today there were several orders for Mustard Powder, which Spencer was happy to fulfill.  

We acquired some placecards from the library, so Spencer decided he would do a Stuffie Thanksgiving. (It was picnic style since we didn't have that many chairs.) Each guest got 5 items to ear. A great time was had by all.

Spencer was inspired to do some Dog Man art.  

When you weren't intended to be the subject of the picture, but you ended up being the subject of the picture.  

Spencer's love for Alphablocks is never ending.  

He thought holding thr take like this made him look 'evil'. So he was trying to look evil in the photo. His smile betrayed him.  

This toy is meant to have a boomerang effect, which is both thrilling and terrifying.  

Art is hard work.  

Sometimes mornings are hard.  

This picture was from before Halloween, but somehow it never got posted. Needless to say, it was a fun way to start the week.  

We inherited some camping gear. (Many thanks to the Sargeant Family!) Spencer was very eager to spend time in the tent.  

I continue to be grateful that our kids love to read. It's not an uncommon when investigating why everyone is so quiet to come around the corner and find this:
