Seeing Spencer

Find yourself someone who will dance with you. They are a treasure.  

Picking the bedtime book is a very serious matter.  

The foam airplane was both maddening and mesmerizing Spencer and Harry.  

When this is how your most favorite relative like to travel, you don't let your worries hold you back. But you do hold on tight.

Grateful to have had a visit from the Hartley's. Always fun to have cousin Harry around   

Soap suds are mesmerizing.  

Might as well make use of the 2025 glasses while it's still 2025.  

When you're cute, sometimes you have to get a little prickly in order for people to take you seriously.  

The first trick is to get the rope over your head. (Also, watch out for balloons.)

Spencer was so excited to give mom his Mother's Day presents. He worked really hard on the card.  The writing is all his - except for the 'ther's' - which he asked Toby to help with. You can't see it in the photo, but the header above 'Happy says "A Love Story". That was his idea. He danced when he came up with it. His present was a terra cotta pot he painted at school and a bookmark. Happy Mother's Day to Cotton, our mother's, and every other mother reading this.  

Truth be told, it seemed like both Spencer and the turtle were happy with the situation.

Spencer's favorite part of Home Depot days is the painting. Here they are putting the finishing touches on their birdfeeders.  

Grateful it's Ice Cream season.  Toby had a birthday party to go to, so Spencer and Daddy had some time to kill.  

Bonanza! A popcorn almost as big as himself. Pillow? Snack? Who can say?  

Toby has started reading upstairs in his room, which Spencer is fully on board with. This is him singing one of his favorite books,  Baby Shark,  to himself in his room.
