Seeing Spencer

What's better than a front row seat next to your brother to watch an excavator in your front yard? 

On his new blanket, with some Sesame Street friends, pretending to be a friendly lion. Naturally.  

They were reading a seek-and-find, looking for "long dog". Which morphed into a 3 part chant for "long dog". Until, at long last, long dog was found! To the dad who is always willing to help, always makes it a little more fun, and always makes us feel truly seen and special. We love you, Jason. Happy Father's Day.  

When you were on your way to an important meeting...but you fell asleep on the way.  

Spencer also got to come listen to the books for Toby's birthday. He initially wanted to sit on the rug with Toby's classmates. But when we got there that was a little overwhelming, so he opted for a chair.

We have a new BFF. Introducing Douglas, the seagull. He's soft, very huggable, and likes to say "mine!" (Thank you, Aunt Bahiya!)  

I'm ready for my portrait.   

Happy Birthday, Noodle! You are sweet, and silly, and so full of love. Here's to many more birthdays. There were hats, cupcakes, presents - even a tent and a seagull. Who could ask for anything more?  

I can't believe I got a front row seat to Toby's recital. Let me just look to see when his number is. He not until the second page?! I'm going to need some snacks.
