Seeing Spencer

If you look closely as the plate, you'll see we this the trifecta. Hence the excitement...

Mr. Mike usually keeps the playground immaculate, so finding a big stick is a reason to celebrate...with digging.  

Bedtime books are the best.  

A Mom and Spencer lunch.  

Spencer moved into his own room and graduated to the toddler bed. It was a very big day. (Toby was showing him how fun the toddler bed was.)  

Once he warmed up to the idea of the counter stool, Spencer fully embraced it.  

Washing away the driveway bananas.  

Toby, I have a great business idea for us. We get a whole bunch of sticks. And we sell them to grownups who like sticks. What do you think? Just to be clear, you would be doing all the selling.  

Dad, do you have anything good in there? Like gummy bears?  

One day you will drop this last nap, but for a little while longer we still have a midday snuggle.  

Checking out the other electric cars at the Eco Fair. The Tesla was lots of fun, but we'll stick with our Nero.  

So excited to see Toby singing on stage!  

Spencer enjoyed planting some sunflower seeds at the Eco Fair.  

Enjoying all that Central School's spring social had to offer - popcorn, bling, and great company.  

Still thinking about all the friends who were at Sesame Place...

Not shopping, just passing some time on a rainy day.  Spencer couldn't believe how many fish there were.  

This blog, and the other one for that matter, doesn't have as many pictures of Cotton as it should. That's because she's the one making it all happen every day. And obviously I don't just mean the blog. I mean the daily grind of walking to school, being sure homework is done, inventing the most fun games, protecting from loud noises, reading, grilled cheese making, dancing, library taking, ukulele playing, singing, soothing, toothbrush convincing, snuggling,... And that's just the stuff I see.   Thank you, Cotton, for being the most wonderful mother to our kids. They don't know how lucky they are.   Happy Mother's Day to you and all the Mom's reading this. We love you all.
