Seeing Spencer

Spencer and Toby had a great time looking for eggs. The bunny brought chocolate, jelly beans, and coins. And left enough eggs that pillowcases were needed to haul the loot around. Not too shabby.  

These two had an egg-cellent time dyeing eggs today!  

This is your reminder to celebrate the small stuff.  

Spencer made himself an obstacle course. I imagine it was Bluey inspired. Regardless, he had a great time running it.  

Hard at work on some Easter decorations so The Bunny will know where to find us.  

So much to shovel, such a tiny scoop.  

Introducing Scribble the Frog, Spencer's new favorite cup. (Thanks Great Aunt Bonnie!)  

Someone was getting rid of a ukulele. Spencer has claimed it as his own. Thankfully, it's a very pleasant instrument.  

This Uber driver is nice, but not keeping his eyes on the road isn't going to reflect well in his rating.

Every hero needs a nemesis. And apparently, (at least for the next book) Dog Man's nemesis is Scarlett Shredder.  

Spencer found his painting at the mini gallery. Unfortunately, it was a little high up. But Colors is on display for all to see.  

I will miss this phase of smiling every time he sees the camera. But for now, it's incredibly charming.  

The roofers came to fix our chimney, so Spencer was thinking about Santa (because Santa comes down the chimney).  

I see you have the camera out! Cheese... Cheeeeese... OMG! Are you done yet?!  

A crunchy carrot and a big balloon. I'm pretty sure it doesn't get luckier than that.  

We don't get too much time that's just us, but Toby and Mommy at a birthday party meant some quality Spencer/Daddy time today.  Highlights included: Ms. Pac-Man Checking out the vinyl (and books) in the book store. and a lunch break.  Not pictured were stops at the toy store and a hardware store. A fun afternoon.

When you get a new jacket, to have to make sure you try it out with all of your different faces. Surprised.  Wistful. Inquisitive. Sneaky. Silly.

When you're reading a book... But then your brother comes over to share it with you and it makes everything more fun.  

When your older brother has great hand-washing habits because if the pandemic, it's a good idea to learn what you can from him.  

Katie and Eli came to see us last weekend. Katie and I have been friends for decades. We waited in line together for probably a 100 auditions. She braided my hair for our wedding. Eli and Spencer are 2 weeks apart in age. I am so lucky to have her as a friend. We're hoping she moves closer before these 2 go off to college. Here's to great friends!
