Seeing Spencer

When your mom is embarrassing you on the playground. And you realize it's going to be like this for the rest of your life.  

Checking to see if anyone is coming.  

Fun to be back on the slide after all the rain.  

"Ah, nothing like having a good book during a diaper change. This one's going to take a long time to clean up." "Really, Dad?"  

When you figure out how to switch to the front camera and you're pretty pleased with yourself.   

That's delicious. Why, yes, I would like another bite.  

Lately, Spencer's been very insistent on only napping if he's snuggled up with me.  

This very helpful gentleman was working at the pretend library tonight.  

He wanted to wear his Broncos hat.

There's nothing better than snuggling up to listen to a good book on a cold day.

May you live a thousand years and never know the betrayal of having YOUR OWN MOTHER eat the french fries you said you were done with (and then decided you actually wanted.) [This was after an hour of talking about it. And he also made sure to tell Dad all about it at dinner time. I imagine I'll be hearing about this for a while...]

All clean, but just as silly as ever.  

Working on shoveling the walk this morning. It looked more fun when I was doing it.  

The only thing that makes a slide better, is a friend.  

It's very important to walk your duck.

We are the proud owners of a new llama! ...And an old (though new to us) house.  

Deep thoughts and M&M's.  

Suffice to say, Spencer was very pleased about "surprising" me. And had a wonderful time doing it over and over.  

We had some family photos done over the holidays, and we are finally getting around to posting them. Looking cool. Or perhaps trying to sniff something?  Introducing Rex to Santa. Working on his dinosaur impression with Dad. Family hilarity. Naturally.  

I'm so happy to see you. But I am on a mission.  

The best part about a stuffie party is that you get to be with all the stuffies.  

We switched diaper brands because we had some Pampers points to use up. Which means the diapers that used to be Mickey Mouse, are now Sesame Street. Suffice to say, Spencer could not be more enthralled. We've had to pause putting on his jammies for the past two nights just so he can see in the mirror at how good his diaper looks. In the GIF he's trying to figure out how he can see the Ernie on his patootie.
