Seeing Spencer

Toby, what are we going to do now that we're up on the couch with our blankets? Is there going to be a story? Maybe we should have Mom or Dad entertain us.

When you're snacking... but then you hear a really juicy piece of gossip.

You have to stay vigilant at the doctor's office. Don't get distracted by the books in the waiting room. That's how they get you. They're calling my name. Maybe if I stand very still, they'll think I'm part of the wallpaper... (*Just getting our flu shot.)  

Mom, I think my crib is full now.  

If we can't go to the playground, we'll bring the playground to us.

Saying "good morning" with some fresh raspberries. Pfffft.  

For some reason, Spencer has taken to dragging the diaper backpack around the apartment. I'm not sure whether he's trying to tell us we need to get out more or he just thinks that everyone carries a backpack (since all the members of his family carry one).  

This is where Spencer decided he eats Popsicles. He refuses to stay in the kitchen when he gets one. Toby came to join him, which I think made Spencer love it even more.

When you realize that your fuzzy sweatshirt makes you even cuter than you were before and that even MORE strangers will try to talk to you. (While we could do without the public attention, it is nice to get the extra hugs from Mommy and be warm and toasty. Thanks, Great Aunt Lynn!)
