Seeing Spencer

Getting some fresh air and sunshine with Mommy on Thanksgiving. Boy, I have a lot to be thankful for.  

Let me in! Mom, can you work your magic here? Sigh. I'll just have to wait until Toby comes out.

I'm so glad we're all up this early in the morning, Mom and Dad. But don't you think we should wake up Toby? He's really missing out.  

To boldly go where no toddler has gone before...  

His first time being foot loose and fancy free in a store (and not in a stroller).  

Don't tell anyone, but I don't understand most of what they're saying. I say "Ah" like I get it, but I don't know what they're talking about.  

"I went to Uncle Jimmy's Turkey Day Feast, and all I got to eat were some carrot sticks*" (*This account is inaccurate. The individual in question was offered various and sundry delicious options. Thank you, Sauer Family!)  

Spencer is learning new words. The current favorite is "pillow". Because when we talk about pillows, we have to demonstrate how fluffy they are.  

Exploring other ways to climb the stairs.  

This is my Mr. Bean impression.  Can you believe I've never even seen the whole show? I'm not exactly sure why people think he's so funny but he does make some good faces.  

When it's too cold to go to the playground, we make our own.  

Unfortunately, these are blurry, but this is what it looks like when you figure out how to stand up on a very springy bed. Thanks for the handsome outfit Great Aunt Lynn.

Parka season has arrived.  

 Some bedtime sillies with Mommy.  With a mommy this fun, who has time to put on pajamas? Sound up for some big time giggles.

Brother Pattycake has been invented and with it comes a lot of joy.

Happy 17 Months, Mr. Roo. (Thanks for the book about me, Aunt Bahiya! My baby days were such a blur. Sleeping, eating, more sleeping, more eating. It helps to be able to look back at the pictures.)  

Some of these are blurry, but suffice to say Spencer was enjoying reading with Dada.  

When you're hard at work... And you didn't quite hear what Mom said. But then you realize it was silly. In fact, it was downright hilarious.
