When your story is going really well. But then you have to backtrack a little bit because you're not sure whether you should have spilled that last part.
Spencer mentioned that two of the rowdier kids in his class were absent today. I asked him if it was any quieter. He said, "no, it was still loud." So, a little quiet time in the reading nook helped balance things out.
Spencer tells us that he plays with the cars and bikes using his recess at school. Which must be true because he's figured out both the steering and the pedaling of our tricycle.
Spencer had a small allergic reaction to his flu shot, so he and Dad ended up doing a trip to urgent care right before bedtime. He brought a stuffie friend (for comfort) and a giant glowstick (to help stay awakein the car).
Sharing a couple shots from Spencer's teacher from the first week of school. According to her everyone is learning the routine and have already mastered lining-up. Spencer is the lunch helper this week, which means he's responsible for placing everyone's lunches out at the table. He decides where everyone is going to sit at lunch. A big responsibility that he is taking very seriously.
